Organization: Founded in 2010, the Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship partners with communities throughout the United State to establish and maintain quality CEO programs.  Our vision is to be the standard for entrepreneurship education in the United States.  We do that by providing world class customer service, guidance and content to our CEO communities.

Job Title:  Summer Intern

Job Title Summary:

The Intern role is to support the operations and growth of the Midland Institute. As the intern, you will be working closely with the Operations Specialist in coordinating, planning, and directing services supporting operations such as bookkeeping, HR, tech stacks, donor management, data and contact management. The Intern will report directly to the Operations Department.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Event Management and Event Tech
  • Tech Stack and Workflow Management  
  • Contact Management
  • Coordinate Book Orders and Specials 
  • Donor Management 
  • Design Thinking - Facilitator Wall Layout Functionality 
  • General Office Support
  • Project Management Support 
  • DISC Assessment Management
  • Support Bookkeeping and Operations

You will excel in this role if you...

  • High School graduate, current college student, or college graduate who is detail oriented
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Knowledge in Google Workspace: Sheets, Docs, Drive, Gmail
  • Organized, reliable and multitasking abilities
  • Punctual and accurate communicator, responsive to email, telephone calls and direct communication from staff
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An analytical mind with problem-solving skills

Location: Effingham, IL - remote option available with commuting occasionally to MIEHQ in Effingham.
