Organization:  Founded in 2010, the Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship partners with communities throughout the United States to establish and maintain quality CEO programs.  Our vision is to be the standard for entrepreneurship education in the United States.  We do that by providing world class customer service, guidance and content to our CEO communities.

Job Title: Regional Cultivator

Job Title Summary:

The Regional Cultivator is responsible for assisting legacy programs in engaging their Program Partners in accomplishing the 12 Program Essentials including the 5 Participant Projects as well as encouraging participation in national (MIE) offerings and utilizing national resources (updating CEO+, Pre/Post Impact, etc). Secondarily, the Regional Cultivator is encouraged to assist the developer team on projects that create, revise, and/or revolutionize strategies and resources to assist our CEO programs. Finally, the Regional Cultivator is also encouraged to offer leads and make connections with the Engagement team for potential future CEO programs. This is a part time role.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • (10-15 hours/month) Assist assigned legacy programs with: 
    • Board meeting best practices and role clarification (attend once a year)
    • Monthly connects to assist and encourage board members and facilitators in accomplishing CEO’s annual projects and goals: 
      • CEO Culture: Orientation, Team Building Day, student profiles and performance indicators (grading strategies). 
      • Initial Business Venture: Timely, Student Driven, and Accomplished
      • Class Business Venture: Timely, Student Driven, and Accomplished
      • Following Student Recruitment Steps and Strategies
      • Following Mentoring Steps and Strategies 
      • Reminders, Follow Up on MIE Offerings: Zoom Trainings, National Competitions, Facilitator Retreat, etc.
    • Organize or assist in organizing regional events or meetups for regional CEO programs. 
    • Perform program health checks to troubleshoot and assist legacy programs are able to successfully accomplish the 12 Program Essentials. 
    • Set up engagement opportunities with Program Developers (as needed).
  • (10-15 hours a month) Collaborate with the Developer team ongoing: Monthly developer zoom meetings, bi-weekly touchpoints with the Lead Developer, assigned projects
  • (As able) Follow up with Engagement Team with leads for potential future CEO programs.

  • Have experience in facilitating or a strong understanding of the role of a facilitator.
