Organization: Founded in 2010, the Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship partners with communities throughout the United State to establish and maintain quality CEO programs.  Our vision is to be the standard for entrepreneurship education in the United States.  We do that by providing world class customer service, guidance and content to our CEO communities.

Job Title:  Help Center Specialist

Job Title Summary:

The Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship Help Center Specialist is the first point of contact for our CEO programs who need technical support. The position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues, and communicate solutions effectively and efficiently with a positive attitude. CEO alumni, CEO facilitator or active CEO board members with experience in CEO and CEO+, and a strong technical acumen are preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • CEO+ inquiries - assist facilitators and board members with entering information and accessing resources
  • Learn MIE’s systems of communication and technology including but not limited to: CEO+, Slack, Trello, CRM “Creatio”, Zoom, Calendly, Canva
  • Assist with management of Social Media Program Accounts including but not limited to:   Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn 
  • Communicate internally (MIE) and external (facilitators, board members, vendors) by listening and delineating customer needs and providing effective solutions
  • Technology problem solving
  • Report subjective claims to the program’s assigned Developer
  • Assist developers with data reporting
  • Process various reports for improving resource utilization 
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned

  • Have the reliability to perform the work consistently (attendance) and punctually (on time)
  • Possess a strong ability to multitask 
  • Possess the ability to work quickly and accurately 
  • Possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal) 
  • Have the ability to work with minimal supervision
