Lawrence County CEO's Facilitator

Barbara Large has been an educator in Lawrence County for over 24 years. She received a master of arts degree from the University of Mississippi in speech and theater and received a master of arts in teaching with an endorsement in educational administration from Oakland City University. Mrs. Large has taught English in high school, in junior high school and served as a building principal for the elementary school until her retirement this past June. She has been listed in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers and has been published in Leader News.

Prior to entering the field of education, Mrs. Large worked as an administrative assistant in her husband’s law offices, taught Sunday school, and volunteered her services as choreographer and director of many Unit 20 student productions. Presently, she is the general partner in a limited partnership and secretary of a family corporation. Mrs. Large looks forward to again working with high school students and serving as the first Lawrence County CEO facilitator.
