Mac Condill

Illini Prairie CEO's Facilitator

My name is Mac Condill and I am the Lead Facilitator for the Illini Prairie CEO Program.  I have an Agribusiness Horticulture degree from Illinois State University and enjoy giving back to the community that has given so much to me and my family for 6 generations.  I am excited to be working with the CEO program as I believe it combines my interests in developing youth for the future, growing businesses for our region and inspiring creative learning.  I also believe the CEO program is making a positive impact on the future of our rural communities which will expand the students minds as to what is actually offered in their own backyard.  My wife and I own and operate The Great Pumpkin Patch and The Homestead Bakery in rural Arthur, IL.  We have 3 children which keep us very busy and I love sports, pumpkins, gardening and local business.  Thank you to all the wonderful local businesses that help make this class possible for our Illini Prairie students.

My name is Christi Mulligan and I am the co-facilitator for the Illini-Prairie CEO Program, which brings together young entrepreneurs from 4 surrounding communities. My degrees are all in the educational leadership realm with my BS in Education from Illinois State University and my advanced degrees from the University of Illinois-Springfield. While I loved being an educator, I felt there was more that I needed to explore in life. I first ventured into the business space as a literacy consulting, training teachers across the Midwest in the latest in neuroscience and learning. I absolutely loved this work, but it was 100% travel and with my family as a focus, I had to find something that was more sustainable. I slowly built a name for myself as a remote freelancer that excelled in Content Management (putting that English background into play) and Project Management, eventually gaining my Project Management Professional Certification. As you can see, I absolutely LOVE to learn and am excited to be a part of the students' learning journeys.

I have partnered to build several businesses, but my passion still remains focused on two things - connecting global freelance talent with the world's businesses (from micro-businesses to global giants) and helping students succeed beyond high school. Giving back via the CEO program as a co-facilitator allows me to get my "kid fix" while still maintaining my different businesses. I am so excited to be a part of crafting the path for young entrepreneurs, exposing them to both the brick (physical locations) and click (online work) that are available to them right here in central Illinois.
