Julie Siebers

Belleville CEO's Facilitator

Julie Siebers earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Greenville College and attended Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville for her teaching certification. For twelve years she worked at CPI Corp. and CPI Photo Finish/Fox Photo holding various positions from staff accountant to Vice President Controller. After Kodak sold CPI Photo Finish/Fox Photo to Wolf Camera, she started her second career as a business teacher at Belleville East High School. She has been teaching in the Business Department at Belleville East for 20 years and enjoys her time working with students and now CEO investors and community leaders.

During her time at Belleville East High School, she helped start and co-sponsor the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) on the East campus for the last nine years. She actively sends students to area, state, and national competitions. She also helped start and co-sponsor the National Business Honor Society on the East campus for the last six years.  She coordinates with the assistance of the FBLA Club Spring Red Cross Blood Drive and Family Food Drive. She also volunteers currently on a variety of committees such as Lancer Improvement Association (Treasurer)  and Lancer Medallion Committee.

Outside of teaching, she is the accountant for the Belleville Teachers Union Local 434 since 2009. She has been a long time member of First Christian Church of Belleville where she was the volunteer treasurer from 2006 to 2013. She also held the volunteer treasurer position for Dorchester Swim & Tennis Club from 1998 to 2011.

Mrs. Siebers has been a long time resident of the west end of Belleville for over 34 years. She is married to Doug Siebers and has two sons.

"Two CEO classes in one crazy COVID year!  Wow, I have so much respect for my 34 students.  Talk about constant change and adjusting to circumstances, these students were spectacular!  Through it all, we heard from 46 speakers and were still able to tour 21 businesses.  First session students chartered a new course by holding a very successful golf tournament, while the Second Session students succeeded in putting their own spin to Belleville's Got Talent.  What an honor to lead, instruct, and facilitate these 34 students in discovering our local business leaders and community.  A special thank you to the CEO investors, board members, mentors, and my students who made my sixth year as facilitator for two CEO classes so memorable."
