Daviess County CEO's Facilitator

William (Bill) Turner has been a high school educator for the past forty-three years. He taught at Washington High School for forty years and retired from full-time teaching in the spring of 2018. While at Washington, Mr. Turner has taught marketing, sports marketing, hospitality & tourism and investment classes. He has been the Washington High School DECA advisor for forty years. He has been the CEO facilitator for the Daviess County CEO program for the past eight years. This is the ninth year of the program.

Mr. Turner is a 1973 graduate of Bloomington South High School and a 1977 graduate of the University of Indianapolis. 

Mr. Turner and his wife Carolyn have been married for forty one years and have three daughters, four grand-daughters and two grandsons. When asked his thoughts on CEO, Mr. Turner remarked. “DECA really helps students learn how to present their ideas and concepts to business people and to think on their feet. CEO takes students to an even higher level by developing engagment skills that incorporate networking and communication with adults on an everyday basis. Through CEO, our students will be comfortable speaking and communicating with adults and also presenting and sharing ideas with those adults.”
