Program Developer position available 

Organization:  Founded in 2010, the Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship partners with communities throughout the United State to establish and maintain quality CEO programs.  Our vision is to be the standard for entrepreneurship education in the United States.  We do that by providing world class customer service, guidance and content to our CEO communities.

Job Title: Program Developer

Reporting to the National Program Director (NPD), Program Developers have both internal and external responsibilities, ranging from community and project management (resource development, high-quality community delivery) to administration (information technology, reporting, evaluating), and human capital (training, mentoring, career progression). Program Developers partner closely with the NPD to chart Midland Institute’s future growth and strategic response to an ever-increasing demand for the organization’s services.

Responsibilities

Project Development and Client Relations/Management

  • Build and maintain strong program relationships; exceptional relationship-builder. 
  • Develop thought leadership around specific topics / emerging instructional and board leadership around specific topics/emerging instructional and board leadership practice areas. 
  • Share in knowledge dissemination and communications.
  • Mentoring, coaching facilitators and board members; visible, approachable sounding board/resource.
  • Understand and implement increasing segments of information technology.
  • Identify best practices and improve internal systems with an eye toward future needs and budget realities.

Qualifications

  • Current or prior CEO facilitator, CEO student, or engaged CEO board member
  • Success in roles requiring execution of multiple tasks while responding to multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to work with efficiency, flexibility, and good humor
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide array of people – junior and senior, for-profit and nonprofit, and from diverse backgrounds
  • Operates with excellence in mind in all matters, with the confidence to defend/debate ideas without ego interfering
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Passionate about Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship’s mission and impact
  • Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in organizational settings
  • Transparent, direct, with substance
  • Self-starter, self-disciplined
  • Spark, imagination, creativity
  • Remain focused in the face of pressure, delivers against timelines, not intimidated by tasks/time limitations
  • Clean driving record and licensed and insured driver with ability to drive to unknown areas using resources. Occasional travel required.
